Turkey Club Sandwich

When it comes to sandwiches, you can find us in the club. Crisp bacon, juicy tomatoes, lean turkey, and toasted bread are just waiting for the perfect sauce. If you want to take this recipe to the next level, add a second sauce: mix a tablespoon of our Herby Chimichurri with two tablespoons of mayo and spread it on one side of the bread before toasting, the mayo will add a golden crust to your favorite loaf.

Chef Tip: Build your sandwich with bacon and lettuce as the layers that touch the bread, that way the tomatoes and turkey won’t make anything soggy.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices sourdough pullman (or your favorite sandwich loaf)

  • Haven's Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco

  • 1/2 lb sliced deli turkey breast

  • 1 cup lettuce

  • 1 large heirloom tomato, sliced

  • 4 slices cooked bacon

  • 4 long toothpicks or wooden skewers

Steps

STEP 1

Lay out two slices of bread and drizzle with some Haven's Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco. Top each with lettuce and sliced tomato

STEP 2

Place two toothpicks into each sandwich and cut in half diagonally, exposing all the delicious layers.
