Description

In this class, we find inspiration from from Travis Lett's beautiful cookbook, Gjelina, named after his beloved restaurant located in Venice Beach. However, we, New Yorkers, don't live near avocado bearing trees or bright citrus groves. In line with our mission to cook seasonally and locally, this class explores how we can best translate California cooking for New York seasons and produce.

Tentative Menu:
Pan Seared Baby
Turnips with Chimichurri Sauce
Spicy Herb Salad
Grilled Kale with Ricotta Salata
Steaks with Smoky Tomato Butter
Yogurt Panna Cotta
