Description

In this series, we will explore the vast world of barbecue as it applies to many cuisines across the globe. In this third installment, students will learn how to cook a barbeque meal inspired by Southeast Asia, which is structured around seasonal ingredients. In addition, the class will provide an overview of pantry items that are fundamental to Southseast Asian cooking: curry pastes, fish sauce, tangy fruits, and chiles, which explore the delicate balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy that make this cuisine so enticing.

All classes are hands-on and end with a seated meal unless otherwise stated. Wine is served in class.
