Description

We think of tea steeped in a cup, but there’s a reason we keep tea in our kitchen cupboards—right next to our favorite herbs and spices. In this class, students will not only learn how to expertly steep the perfect cuppa but will also explore tea as a secret spice for infusing sweet and savory dishes alike. Taught by Alexis Siemons, the founder of Teaspoons & Petals and a leading tea consultant certified in the Foundations of Tea by the Specialty Tea Institute, students will learn to infuse tea into tasty, vegetarian classics such as the following:


Cashew Tea Latte

Cheese & Chocolate Tea Pairings

Matcha Avocado Sweet Pea Toast

Puerh Tea Miso Soup

Lapsang Souchong Smoked Apple Tart
