One of the most important elements of cooking is understanding heat. Heat from the sun determines weather and seasonality—important for our animals and vegetables. Knowing how heat interacts with ingredients is also essential to grasping how to transform their flavor and texture. In this class, students will learn about the importance of heat by cooking and preparing meat and vegetables.
