Description

In this class, we will teach several methods of Thai cooking, using classic herbs, spices and ingredients to show how to make vegetarian substitutions for some of your favorite classics. Guests will learn how to make “vegan fish sauce” and discuss the importance of using Fish Sauce in Southeast Asian Cooking, and will walk away with a better understanding of the unique flavors and techniques of the region.

MEET THE CHEF

Chef Yo has brought his food and culture to New York from Thailand and is the chef and owner of Pinto in the West Village and Pinto Garden in Brooklyn Heights. At Pinto, he has been focusing on Thai food that uses seasonal local ingredients to create authentic recipes.
