Gluten Free and Vegetarian! Tortillas & Tostadas – Mon, Mar 18 at 6:30pm
As a classic “Mexican” dish, tostadas are shapeshifting, taking on local transformations throughout Mexico. In many ways, this is why tostadas are often a standard on many American restaurant menus—they are easy to riff. In this class, students will learn how to make tortillas, fill them with seasonal ingredients and whip up some salsas. In this class, we’ll learn how to make a variety of vegetarian dishes from this region with a seasonal twist. All classes are hands-on and end with a seated meal unless otherwise stated. Wine is served in class.
