Warmed Beet Salad with Golden Tahini

 Cook time:  45 minutes

Serves 4

What you need

  • 6 medium beets, ideally mixed varieties
  • Olive oil
  • 1 bunch Kale, leaves only, chopped
  • Salt
  • Sesame seeds, toasted
  • The zest of an orange
  • 1 pouch Haven’s Kitchen Golden Turmeric Tahini

How to make it:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Prepare your beets: no need to peel! Just rinse and scrub, cutting off any dirty parts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  3. Roast for 25 minutes til cooked through
  4. Toss the hot beets and kale with a pinch of salt to wilt the kale. Then zest the orange and add in the sesame seeds
  5. Plate on a drizzle of Tahini and finish with more tahini
