Crunchy BBQ Cauliflower Bites

A plant-based version of our wing recipe, these crispy crunchy oven baked cauli bites are glazed to perfection with Tangy BBQ. If you have an air-fryer, we highly recommend it here, but an oven works perfectly too!

Chef Tip: Cornstarch or plan rice flour are the perfect way to create a gluten-free crispy coating. Make sure you get it into the nooks and crannies, then dust off the excess. Using a rack over the sheet tray (or an air fryer) also makes sure every edge is crispy.

STEP 1

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

STEP 2

In a large bowl, whisk the flour and 1 cup of water until you have a smooth batter. Toss the florets in the batter then shake off any excess batter before laying the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with a rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown

STEP 3

Squeeze ½ pouch of BBQ sauce onto the cauliflower, and toss it to coat the florets. Then spread the cauliflower out again in a single layer and bake for another 10 minutes until the BBQ sauce is hot and glazy
