Tangy BBQ Pork and Pineapple

A pork tenderloin is festive and easy to serve for a crowd. Tangy BBQ adds smoky sweet heat, and pineapple brings a tangy twist to the the party. Serve with our potato salad for a classic ode to Hawaiian diner fare.

Chef Tip: Searing the pork creates deep flavor, so take care to give each side a hard sear by setting it in the skillet and letting it cook until browned and crisp.

STEP 1

Season pork tenderloin with salt and pepper. In a non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook pork for 3-4 minutes per side, brush with Haven's Kitchen Tangy BBQ and cook an additional few minutes until pork begins to char. Pork is done when the internal temperature reaches at least 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from heat and rest for 5-7 minutes

STEP 2

In the same pan, toss the pineapple with a few tablespoons of Haven's Kitchen Tangy BBQ and cook over medium-high heat until it begins to caramelize

STEP 3

Slice pork and place on platter with caramelized pineapple, drizzle with Haven's Kitchen Tangy BBQ and garnish with sliced scallions. Serve with sweet Hawaiian rolls and enjoy!
