Farmers, chefs, and home cooks alike wait all year for tomato season. At its platonic ideal—it can be eaten unadorned with perhaps a dash of salt. Gussied up, it’s tender beauty shines through with a touch of basil or accompanied with fresh butter on toasted bread. In this class, we’ll explore tomato varieties and how to transform them in their simplest form, enchanting their natural flavors. We’ll enjoy salads, chutneys, pastas and more.
