Homemade Basic Vinaigrette

The only formula you’ll ever need to have a homemade vinaigrette on hand in minutes! Perfect to make ahead for the week.

Chef Tip: Tip: Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days! We like to reuse any jars we have on hand, like a repurposed jam jar.

Ingredients

  • ½ shallot, minced

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (or any Haven’s Kitchen sauce)

  • Salt and pepper

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar (or any vinegar of your choice)

  • ½ cup olive oil (or any flavored oil)

Steps

STEP 1

In a clean jar with a tight-sealing lid, add all ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

STEP 2

Cover the jar and shake until emulsified. Serve on salad, meat, sandwiches, etc.
