Cooking 101
We love finding new ways to use leftover or store-bought pizza dough. And we love finding new ways to use chimi. And we love melted butter! So, clearly we love this recipe.
Chef Tip: A pizza cutter isn’t just for cooked pizza, you can easily use it to slice the raw dough, too!
2 Tbsp melted butter
1 roll refrigerator pizza dough
6 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into 24 bite sized pieces
1 egg, beaten
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a cake tin with parchment paper
Meanwhile, whisk together the melted butter with half a pouch of the Chimichurri
Spread out the pizza dough and, using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into 24 squares
Add a piece of mozzarella to each square of dough to form a ball, rolling with your hands, pinching to seal the edges
Place the balls in a cake tin in concentric circles and lightly brush with the egg wash and bake for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown
When the bread is finished baking, brush on the Chimi butter and serve immediately
