Juicy Cheeseburger with Zesty Jalapeño Aioli

Chef’s Tip: Don’t overwork your burger. Once you’ve formed a patty, let it be. Don’t flip it before it’s ready to flip; you’ll know it’s ready when it releases easily from the bottom of the pan.

STEP 1

Temper your meat for about 20-30 minutes while your grill or grill pan heats up

STEP 2

Shape the meat into 4 equal patties and season generously with salt and pepper. At the top of each burger, make a divot with your thumb

STEP 3

When the pan is super hot, cook your burgers, making sure not to flip until they release easily from the pan or grill. For medium burgers, you’ll cook for about 3-4 minutes per side.

STEP 4

Let the burgers rest for a minute or so while you toast your buns and add your toppings. Spread the Zesty Jalapeño Aioli on the bun and serve
