Our Golden Turmeric Tahini sauce mixed with yogurt makes a delicious sauce for this easy chicken recipe. A light crust of hummus on the chicken before baking adds protein and pairs perfectly with the sauce, finished with a bright pop from fresh cilantro.
Chef Tip: Mixing the sauce first lets the flavors really meld while you cook the protein.
½ cup Greek yogurt
2 chicken breasts (about 4-oz each)
Salt
1/3 cup store-bought Hummus
3-4 sprigs of cilantro, chopped
Preheat your oven to 400°F
To make the yogurt sauce, whisk the yogurt with ½ a pouch of the Turmeric Tahini and set aside
Place the chicken breasts on a parchment lined baking sheet tray, season it with salt and spread the hummus evenly over the chicken breast. Place it inside the oven to roast.
Cook for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken registers an internal temperature of 165°F. Garnish it with the cilantro and serve it immediately with the Tahini yogurt sauce
