Sesame seed chicken cutlets and Golden Turmeric Tahini salad are the perfect lunch or dinner combo!
Chef Tip: When breading your chicken cutlets, press the breadcrumbs into the chicken, making sure all of those breadcrumbs stick tightly during the frying process.
1 lb. thinly sliced chicken cutlets
3 eggs, lightly whisked
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup black sesame seeds
Neutral oil, for frying
Salt and Pepper
Za’atar spice (optional)
Season eggs with salt and pepper and whisk together. In a separate dish, combine sesame seeds and breadcrumbs.
Dip chicken cutlets in egg, shaking off excess, and then dip in the breadcrumb mixture. Press breadcrumbs into cutlets.
Pan fry until golden brown and cooked through. Whisk Golden Turmeric Tahini with za'atar spice and olive oil. Drizzle over chicken cutlets and serve.
