Cooking 101
This recipe is the perfect way to upgrade your store-bought baguette and impress your dinner guests. Made with buttery ramps, tangy pecorino cheese, and our flavorful Edamame Green Goddess sauce, this recipe is easy to make and tastes amazing.
Chef Tip: To make the most of the ramp season, you can blanch and freeze any leftover ramps for future use. Simply blanch the ramps in boiling salted water for 30 seconds, then transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and pat dry, then pack them into an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months. They're great for adding a fresh, garlicky flavor to soups & stews.
1 baguette
1 bunch ramps, blanched and finely chopped
1 stick butter, softened
Salt
Red pepper flakes
1 block pecorino cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice baguette in half lengthwise.
In a medium bowl, mix together butter, ramps, a pinch of salt, a pinch of red pepper flakes, and ½ pouch Haven's Kitchen Edamame Green Goddess. Spread butter mixture over baguette and grate pecorino over butter mixture.
Bake 5-8 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Slice baguette halves into smaller pieces and serve.
