Cooking 101
An update on a classic combo. Tomato soup has a little extra romesco kick, and grilled cheese is cut down into baby croutons for easy eating.
Chef Tip: Try swapping mayo for butter on the grilled cheese- the croutons will have an extra savory flavor to them!
For the croutons:
2 tablespoons butter
3 slices cheddar cheese
2 slices sandwich bread
For the soup:
Spread butter on both slices of bread. Add to saute pan, butter side down, and lay cheese over bread.
Top with other slice of bread, butter side up. Flip sandwich when first side is browned and cook until second side is browned. Cut into 1 inch cubes and serve with Roasted Pepper and Tomato Soup with Romesco.
