Sesame Seared Tuna with Chili Bang Bang Aioli

Fresh tuna steaks are coated in a delicious blend of soy sauce and our Gingery Miso, topped with a crunchy sesame seed crust, and a drizzle of Haven’s Kitchen Chili Bang Bang Aioli. This 10-minute dish is perfect as a flavorful appetizer for four or a satisfying main course for two.

Chef Tip: For optimal results, ensure your skillet is very hot before searing the tuna steaks to achieve a beautiful golden crust while keeping the center rare and tender.

STEP 1

Heat a large skillet over high heat. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and Gingery Miso. Season with salt and pepper.

STEP 2

Spread sesame seeds onto a plate. Brush tuna steaks with Gingery Miso sauce and dip in the sesame seeds, gently pressing down so the seeds stick to the steaks.

STEP 3

Sear in the hot pan for 1 minute. Flip, and sear one more minute.

STEP 4

Slice and serve with extra Gingery Miso sauce, lime wedges, and a drizzle of Chili Bang Bang Aioli
